Dongan offers single phase ventilated transformers from .50kVA to 5kVA and encapsulated transformers from .250kVA through 25kVA. Our enclosures are NEMA 3R as standard with only some exceptions at the smallest kVA which are indicated in the catalog. These transformers can be wall mounted or floor mounted cabinet style depending upon the kVA rating. These are UL and CUL listed and are copper wound through 25kVA. We offer aluminum wound transformers starting at 7.5kVA through 100kVA as standard off the shelf. We also build larger custom transformers too. In addition, we also offer TP-1 Energy Efficient Transformers starting at 15kVA and larger as required by the D.O.E. These transformers meet the minimum energy efficiency requirements as set forth by the Department of Energy in EPACT. Dongan's TP-1 transformers begin with the prefix 41 for aluminum wound and 42 for copper wound transformers. These are competitively priced against our competition.
All of our transformers have an electrostatic shield between the primary and secondary for transient noise reduction. Insulation system are 105°, 180° or 220° depending upon the series of transformer.

Dongan has a full complement of three phase ventilated transformers from 3kVA to 300kVA We offer encapsulated three phase transformers from 3kVA through 9kVA and ventilated from 15kVA and up. Our enclosures are NEMA 3R without the addition of a costly weathershield as standard with only some exceptions at the smallest kVA which are indicated in the catalog.

Dongan Electric Manufacturing Company offers a broad selection of Transformer Lighting Disconnects. These products are the most advanced series of disconnects available in the market today and most important they have the approvals and certifications needed to compete and ship worldwide. This product is a safety product and have in interlock on the rotary cam switch that prevents the unit from being opened while it is powered up.  Other features are:

We offer the series Lighting Disconnects in Nema 1 and Nema 12 enclosures. We offer single output and dual output series and all of our units have fusing on the secondary and primary. Units can be wall mounted or floor mounted.  We also offer a large capacity series starting at 5kva and up to 10kva as well as a compact design from 250va through 1000va. Our TDFM12 series has a flange mount disconnect switch that operates as a traditional fusible disconnect switch does in a vertical up and down manner. These are for high interupting capacity applications. Dongan also offer a constant voltage regulator disconnect switch in Top, Bottom, Side or Remote mount configurations.
